Mountain Stream Whitewater,
Quehanna Wild Area, Pennsylvania

A small mountain stream in December, high up on the Allegheny Plateau of northwest Pennsylvania. A bit of snow, but not enough to reach the water's edge. The cold, clear waters tumble down through the birch-aspen forest, over moss covered rocks and driftwood lodged between the boulders.
