Sugar Maple Autumn Color Palette,
October Morning
On a perfect late October morning, I prowl for fall colors photographs. An interesting mixture of excitement and serenity prevails. Anticipation at all of the possibilities that might unfold before my senses. Peace at being out in nature, absorbing the sights, smells, and feelings of being alive on a drop-dead gorgeous autumn morning.
I work my way around and underneath a sugar maple tree that exhibits an amazing palette of colors. Some leaves are bright red, some are golden yellow, while others haven't turned from their late summer green yet. In addition, the clear deep blue Indian Summer sky provides the perfect backdrop to set off all the foliage colors.
