Alpine Lake Sunset, Bridger Wilderness, Wyoming
We were camped above timberline high in the Rockies, in the Bridger Wilderness of northwestern Wyoming. It was the second last day of a five day backpacking hike. We had enjoyed fair weather for most of the trip.
At sunset that evening, the sky was lit up not by rosy colors, but by the sun streaming through, under, and over the clouds. The small lake in the foreground acted as a mirror to double the effect.
