Oregon Coast Sunset, Seal Rock, Pacific Ocean
This photo of a glorious red sunset sky on the Oregon coast was made at Seal Rock State Recreational Area.
It was a calm summer evening driving south down US 101 from Newport to Yahacts. The surf as gently massaging the beach when the almost-set sun dipped below a cloud bank and lit up the sky with reds and oranges and yellows. The Pacific Ocean provided a mirror effect, doubling the intensity of the scene.
