Dory Bow, Hither Creek, Madaket, Nantucket Island
On a frosty December morning at the public dock on Hither Creek at Madaket, the bow of a dory boat is lit up by the rising sun. The sturdy little boat is a wonderful melding of fiberglass, wood, steel screws, and rope.
