This photograph was made on the outskirts of the village of Yellow Springs in southwestern Ohio, home to Antioch University as well as many resident artists.
I was participating in a Saturday morning photography get-together hosted by a local art gallery. The event was patterned after the kinds of workshops that used to be held there by a commercial photographer decades ago.
We would shoot individually, then get together on the following Saturday to show what we had come up with. Unfortunately, the event was short lived, as was the gallery. Still, any excuse to be in Yellow Springs is a good excuse.
