U.S. Highway 89 near Page, Arizona makes a dramatic cut through the Echo Cliffs just beyond Bitter Springs.
In this photo, the waxing moon was up in the late afternoon in a clear deep blue Arizona sky over the Cliffs. The towering red and yellow and buff layers of sandstone made for a colorful accent.
