After a summer thunderstorm on the Coconino Plateau in northern Arizona, I walked out to smell the wet earth and watch the clouds start to pull back from the mountains.
Some nearby Ponderosa pine trees caught my eye. The air was calm after the rain, and the sun was coming out. On the tips of the pine foliage the rain drop had collected and hung, glistening in the soft bright light.
